Nothin' like a paisley pant to spice up your hump day (to clarify for future archive readers, today is a Wednesday ;-). I saw these 70's retro pants at one of my all time fav boutiques in San Diego, Studio 1220, a few weeks back and was a bit hesitant to even try them on. If not worn right, patterns can be a scary thing! Patterns have a tendency to make things look bigger, therefore, I usually take caution when I place them on my rear ;-). In this outfit I paired these patterned pants with a high-low top (to cover any unwanted busyness on my bum) and I just love the flowiness (<-- side note, I know this isn't a real word BUT IT SHOULD BE! Ive used it a billion times this summer -- since flowy boho was so totally the trend -- and my computer wants to correct it every time! Drives me nuts, but I'm still using it ;) this top gives to match the flowy boho-wide legged pant! TIP: I know most of us would want to wear sandals or flats with boho pants like these, BUT if you wear them with a platform wedge or heeled bootie, your legs will look like soooo long.
