Ok so I've fully hopped on the summer crop top/boho chic bandwagon. Yea I know, I'm a little behind on that, I resisted for as long as I could but have officially given in (and happily so I might add). Of course, my new boho obsession is complete with the greatest accessory of all time: Flash Tattoos! Seriously, these tats are so much fun and stay on for a good 4-6 days. They are my new summer must have... expect to see them a lot in my upcoming posts ;) For some reason Im reeeeally into navy and white these days. This fun spring/summer look encompasses it all: super trendy aztec print pants, sassy lace crop top, and just the right amount of flash :) Try it out and let me know whatcha think!

Happy almost summer everyone, stay calm and tan on!

Design a Dress with Piol

Dress: Piol c/o
Heels: zara (signed by NASCAR racer Dale Earnhardt Jr. ;-)
Bracelets: bejeweled beads.

I am in love with this dress for a few reasons. First, every time I wear it I get tons of compliments. Which is most likely because the second reason I love this dress: I was able to custom design it myself! I selected the neckline, silhouettte, skirt, sleeve, fabric, and tailored it to my exact measurements. The dress is by Piol Dresses, they are an online custom dress company that can literally create a dress that is perfect for your skin tone, hair color, and body type.

The design process alone is exciting! The only thing I wish I had when making my selections was a real life example or picture to reference my different options (like the neckline, sleeve, etc). I've added my selections below on the dress above so you can see a real life picture to reference when you're designing your dress! First they have you select your skin tone, hair color, and eye color to determine the correct color palette of fabrics for you to choose from (medium blonde hair, blue eyes, fair skin).  Then you select your silhouette, (tailored), this part is based purely off of your body type. They offer really insightful information to help you make your selection based on what you want to highlight and what you want to conceal. Next you choose your favorite fabric (faded floral no, 1),  neckline (mid v neck), skirt (short full skirt), and sleeves (fitted cap sleeves). After you make all of your selections you just add in your sizes and thats it! (Quick tip here: if you want the skirt a little shorter than their standard 3 inches above the knee, make your height a few inches shorter and the skirt will be a little shorter ;-) I'm 5'6 but I think I entered in 5'4 so the dress came up 5 inches above my knee). A few weeks later you'll have a perfectly tailored dress at your doorstep! So, so, so fun!

Stay calm and design on!

I am obsessed with this cranberry red tie-dye dress. It's honestly the perfect dress for everything.... it's the perfect everything dress ;-) I love the boldness of the color, it adds so much to the overall look that you don't need to over do it with jewelry, making it perfect for when you're rushing out the door and need to slip something cute & quick on and run. It is a high-low cut (shorter in the front, longer in the back) which I love (and is super flattering ps!). I bought it from Studio 1220 but they don't have it online anymore. I found it on another website... and its 20% off, hollaaaa! I love you guys! Thanks for reading!

How to Have the Best Legs at Girl's Night Out!

{This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Sally Hansen...but even if it wasn't sponsored, I would still tell you guys about this... its AMAZEEEE... but I digress ;-) }

If you're anything like me you will agree that having smooth, toned, tanned legs can make you feel like you can conquer the world...or at least conquer any cocktail-dress-wearing event with your girlfriends. But again, if you're anything like me you usually have anywhere between 1-4 bruises on your shins from running into things all the darn time and therefore ruining your ability to strut confidently in your cocktail dress. Until now...

I have recently discovered a secret weapon. I must admit, at first I was quite skeptical about the product I'm going to tell you about. But ladies, now.... I'm a believer. Move out of the way Victoria's Secret, Sally Hansen's got a secret and it's incredible! It's called Airbrush Leg Makeup... I know, sounds weird (now you see why I was skeptical), but it truly works. I tried it on the other day before I left for work and I seriously caught myself checking my own legs out like several times throughout the day, obviously very discretely ;-)

There are three different shades for you to choose from and two different ways to apply it. I've tried both ways and I actually prefer the lotion to the spray. You just evenly apply a quarter size amount to each leg and your set! Not only does it make your legs a little tanner, but it makes them smoother than all get out (what does that saying even mean?). It's almost like you're wearing panty hoes (in a good way); I'm not kidding, your legs will look flawless. It's water resistant and will actually stay on you and not your clothes. Unlike self tanner that is incredibly hard to remove, this can be easily removed with soap and water at the end of the day.

Next time you have a Girl's Night Out make sure to give this stuff a try, you will be the envy of all your gal pals. Don't have any ladies nights planned? Well get it together girlfriend! Grab your girlfriends, your leg makeup (use this coupon to try it out), and your party dress and check out Evite's super fun Girl's Night Out party ideas and tips to plan the best GNO (Girl's Night Out ;) I posted a few pictures below of some of my favorite Evite party tips!

Last thing, Evite and Sally Hansen are hosting a Twitter party on Tuesday, May 20th from 5-6pm (PST). A bunch of amazing bloggers will be sharing their favorite Girl's Night Out ideas along with a bunch of fun beauty, fashion, and style tips! I've never attended a Twitter party before but it sounds like a blast (if you're still confused on how this works, you can read more about it here). Come with me to join in on the discussion! Just click here to RSVP to the event!

Well, that's all for now ladies! I hope you all have a WONDERFUL weekend and I look forward to e-meeting some of you on Twitter!
