DRAWSTRING PANTS: Forever 21 (similar) // NAVY TANK: YAS // DENIM BUTTON DOWN: Forever 21 (similar) // SANDALS: (from Italy)  // GOLD TRIANGLE RING: Jewlr

There's nothing better than a pair of drawstring pants that feel like sweatpants but can double as a cute outfit, with the right accessorizing of course. Right now Forever 21 has an insane amount of drawstring pants/joggers/khakis. Im warning you, its tempting to just browse through their site for a few minutes! I styled these aztec printed pants with a navy tank and a denim button down shirt, worn open as a light jacket. I rocked the top knot, because lets be honest, who isn't these days, and was on my way! Perfectly cozy, yet casually chic outfit for the breezy fall days to come (come soon, PLEASE).

Thanks for stopping by loves!

Summertime Sale with Morning Lavender

This summer I have posted a bunch of outfits from the online boutique Morning Lavender. I love this store because they have the cutest variety of dresses, rompers, and work blouses (which is basically all I ever wear ha). I just noticed a TON of the outfits I have from them are now on SALE! So, I thought I would keep it short and sweet today and just link you to the items ;-)

Hope you are all having a wonderful Thursday!

Stormy Stripes

HOODED STRIPE DRESS: Forever 21 // BOOTIES: Sole Society // GOLD BRACELET: Forever 21 // TORTOISE SUNNIES: Target // RINGS: Jewlr c/o & Gorjana c/o // GOLD WATCH: Michael Kors //

I'm loving the t-shirt dress look a lot lately. Perhaps it's because it's an easy outfit (especially when you're a heavy sleeper like I am and tend to sleep through cough 6 cough alarms) to throw on in a rush, or maybe because it's very minimalist and casual. Or maybe both of those things! All I know is Forever 21 has the best selection of all things (inexpensive) and t-shirt dress like. I know, their quality isn't bomb, but for causal wear that you need for one season it's not too bad of a place to shop.

As I mentioned last week, I really do prefer to shop at busy stores like Forever 21 online to avoid the mess and the line at the dressing room. Plus, they photograph the items so well online and its just so much easier to browse through their products from my laptop, sans pants and in bed ;-) Shipping is free over $50 (which let's be honest, I can't get out of a store like Forever 21 - or Target - without spending at least $50) and if I need to return anything, well there's definitely a store in range that I can swing by if I need to.

Also, fall season is just weeks away which meannnnsssss.... BOOTS, SCARFS, ANNOYING GIRLY LATTES AT STARBUCKS AND LAYYYYERRRSSS!! It very well may still be 90 degrees in San Diego this September, but I don't care. I will still gear up and sweat fabulously in all my layers ;-) I just got the new catalog from my favorite boutique to get boots, Sole Society, and I am DYING... I have 3 pairs of boots I already want. I'll share them this week, but you can see for yourself here and browse their new line for fall!

Last night I started a new Bible study with this group called Bible Study Fellowship and I am SO excited. We are going through Revelation, which seems quite intimidating at first glance, so we will see how it goes. If you guys are interested in learning more about BSF they have like thousands of groups that meet all over the world... check the site and see if there is a group around you to join, We would all be going through Revelation together!

Thanks for stopping by loves! Have a lovely Wednesday!

A Moment to Reflect

BLUE CROP TOP (On Sale!):  Morning Lavender // WHITE MIDI SKIRT: Morning Lavender

This summer has been an interesting one for me. Lots of love and laughs, but also lots of sadness and moments of overcoming life's hardest obstacles. I think it's so important to reflect at the end of each season, review the moments that have had a part in shaping who we are becoming. Whether it's been a season of great joy and happiness or a season of sorrow and loss, both have great impact on our lives and perspectives and therefore should be remembered to pull joy from or pull wisdom and growth from.

I've kept a journal since I was in the 6th grade. Not only are they fantastic reads as you get older, they really show tangible proof of the person you were and the person you're becoming. It's so neat to be able to read through journals from many different seasons and see how God has been there with me every step of the way. Through my very dramatic 6th grade math test worries, to heartbreak in relationships and family loss, God has been my Great Comforter through it all.

Regardless of your faith or stance on religion, I think personal reflection is key to becoming more beautiful on the inside. I encourage all of you to keep a journal, honestly you won't regret it. Journal your fears, concerns, joys, moments of incredible love and moments of exciting success. Write it all down and savor the moments. Learn from the moments. Allow those moments to challenge you to be better, live better, and love better as you grow up.

God has really been revealing so much to me about love and how to love people in a selfless way. That's my focus this fall, how to love family, friends, strangers better. I want to be remembered by my love for people, all people. I will go more into this later on this month, just wanted to share what has been on my heart this past week. Love you guys!
