Roadtrip Outfit.

For starters, I am SO sorry for being MIA this past week. As most of you know, I work for Robeson Design (check us out on youtube here!) and we were visiting a client in NYC last week. I spent my days and nights taking in the city and therefore neglected my sweet blog :( But I'm back now! So lets get to today's post!

We can all agree there's nothing like a 8 hr road trip to make you rethink your adventure outfit (especially if your friends take as many photos as my friends do). You want to be comfy enough to take an occasional snooze but stylish enough to enjoy the memories 4 years from now when you browse your photo gallery.

Best advice I can give: it's easy as 1, 2, 3 (and 4 ;))

1. Wear jeans that are stretchy (think stretchy, jegging-ish)
2. Baggy t-shirt
3. Stylish lightweight hoodie
4. Your fav booties

**note: obviously the weather and the location of your road trip should be taken into account. On this road trip we went to Big Sur, California (do yourself a favor and take a trip there, you won't regret it). We went a few months ago when it was actually gloomy and rainy... so we wore a few extra layers. But, if you were traveling to the coastline during the summer: swap out the booties for sandals and maybe the jeans for loose shorts ;-) To see all the dreamy photos from this glorious trip to the most gorgeous California coastline, check out my full post from this trip by clicking here).

I hope you are all having an amazing summer and a fabulous Monday!

If you haven't noticed, I've been spending a lot of time at the beach lately! I live in San Diego right by the beach and since I work from home, my lunch breaks are usually spent on the sand ;)  This Billabong cover up is sooooo amazing, the cut outs around the waistline are really fun and ... well, breezy ha. I paired this indigo blue cover up with a pop of burnt orange in the necklace, along with a touch of silver and gold flash with my sofia flash tattoos. The thing I really love about flash tattoos is how they actually make any outfit (on land or in the water) just pop. Like on those nights you're feeling yuck and only want to drape yourself in lots of flowy black... throw some flash on and it will spice that boring (yet easy and comfy) black outfit up real quick. If you're like me and you have rings and necklaces that you rarely take off... flash is awesome because you can replace your favorite (and sometimes expensive) jewelry with a few removable tats and still feel suuuuuuper hipster boho trendy... since that is just so all the rage right now ;-) Until next time!

Skirt: zara (from last season, similar here and here!)
Heels: zara (from last season, similar here)
Bracelet: studio 1220

I love this look because it is bright, fun, and very feminine (I also styled this skirt with more of a black and white flare in this post here). I mixed this high waisted floral skirt with a pair of dainty red heels and a splash of flirty golden color on top. This is a perfect look for a lunch with the ladies, or even a bridal shower (since everyone and their mother seems to be getting married right now!). I wish I could link that exact skirt for you guys but its from last year at Zara and their turn over is ridiculous! Nothing stays online for more than 3 weeks it seems ;-/ But I have linked a few of my other favorite spring/summer floral print skirts above!
